Hi, Happy New Year!
This is the annual New Year’s visit to Otori Shrine, and this year I visited it just after the day had changed. The visitor’s line for the shrine was long, but probably as many people were used to it, I could get there earlier than usual. As usual, there were no food stalls, but the water hole was now available for use. After praying, I dedicated the talismans, amulets, and shaman bows and arrows that I had used in the previous year, and made new ones as usual.
Last year, 2023, was a difficult year for me because Pomme crossed the rainbow bridge. I hope this year goes well without too much trouble.
